About the Author
At the age of six, I recall that my biggest dream was to go to China and tour the country on a scooter: selling vanilla and chocolate chip ice cream. I can only assume that this strange fantasy stemmed from watching National Geographic with my grandfather. I was held spellbound by documentaries that told the story of places that appeared far more ‘exotic’ than Poland in the 2000s. With age, I grew curious of anything and everything that cast light on what constitutes the mosaic that is the human condition. Even if I was not consciously aware of this being my purpose at the time.
This curious spark evolved into a vocation to pursue the discovery of my personal perspective on the diversity of the human experience – be it through art, history, literature, philosophy, or other means. And I have decided to create this organic and growing project in order to record my journey. From articles about socio-political issues and travel records, to amateur poetry and photography, my aim is to create works of non-fiction as well as art - and even a mixture of both – to record the experiences that have changed me.
